Massage Therapy to me has always been a treatment that I searched for and needed to add into my lifestyle for many reasons, and the benefits I experienced were incredible. It also has fascinated me how well therapists in this profession can induce the body to such
a relaxing state and still help you with issues such as tension, pain, injuries, mobility and much more. From that point on I knew I wanted to become an RMT and I wanted to help people feel better both mentally and physically.
I truly believe in the ability of making a change in someone’s health as well as getting them to the treatment goals they want to achieve all while distressing. Using different techniques with each individual is key in achieving these goals, therefore I am well versed in different techniques such as muscle tension release, deep tissue release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, cupping and hot stone massage.
In addition, I am planning on taking on courses in the near future such as Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) and Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR). Wellness and Health should always be a priority and my goal is to help you find that sustainable balance in achieving the best physical and functional well being, and overall live a better mobile lifestyle.
